How can the library support you and your family in lifelong learning? What could the library be doing better in our efforts to increase the joy of reading and school success in young people, especially boys? Are there services Toronto Public Library could deliver or enhance through partnerships? Now’s your chance to Tell TPL what you want from your library.

Toronto Public Library is creating a new Strategic Plan to guide service delivery for the next four years. Join the conversation to help shape our new plan and achieve our vision of a library that is recognized as the world’s leading public library, helping make Torontonians smarter, successful and resilient, through excellent and responsive service.

This fall, the Bram & Bluma Appel Salon at the Toronto Reference Library welcomes an exciting lineup of speakers.

CNN political commentator David Frum kicks off the season with his debut novel, "Patriots". Internationally-renowned writer Martin Amis discusses his new book "Lionel Asbo: State of England", a satire of modern society and celebrity culture. Bestselling author Val McDermid discusses her latest crime novel, "The Vanishing Point".
